In this meeting, issue of Revolving Guarantee instead of Bank Guarantee would be finalised along with some other important decision.

Sources told Customs Today that the agenda of the meeting also includes facilitation of transit trade cargo through installation of Weboc screens on the borders of Afghanistan and its access to be given to the Afghan authorities too.

The meeting is also being attended by the Terminal Heads who would be advised to improve their scanning system by installing new and upgraded scanners as in the recent past the scanning from 100 percent has gone down to 20 per cent due which entire work is being delayed.

Mr. Maneka is scheduled back to Karachi on Monday.

He is also likely to meet the members of Bonded Carriers Association and Clearing Agents Association after his return from the Capital.
