LAHORE: Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Monday, while fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), donated Rs 4.3 million among 10 charitable institutions.
The cheque distribution ceremony was presided over by LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar while LCCI Senior Vice President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, Vice President Mian Abuzar Shad, former Presidents Mian Misbahur Rehman, Mian Muzaffar Ali, former Senior Vice President Sohail Lashari, President Albaraka Bank Shafqaat Ahmad, LCCI Executive Committee members and representatives of the charitable institutions attended the function.
The recipients of the donation are: Shalamar Hospital, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust Hospital, Hijaz Hospital, Patients Welfare Society Lady Willington Hospital, Clapp Hospital, The Trust School, Sundas Foundation, Fatmeed Foundation, Rising Sun Education and Welfare Society and Foundation for Rehabilitation and Education of Slow Children.
LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar said that LCCI strongly believes in CSR and would continue to extend a helping hand to all the charitable institutions for the fulfillment of their noble cause.
