TOKYO: Rockstar has downgraded the graphics in GTA V for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Following a recent update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of GTA V, some users noticed a fairly obvious graphical downgrade compared to the way the game was before.
Not satisfied with just thinking something was wrong, one player decided to investigate and has created a video showing the graphical difference before and after the update, and it’s fairly considerable. Fortunately Rockstar are aware of the problem and are working on a fix.
Check out the video comparison above which points out several differences between the two updates, the most shocking is the one of the railway tracks which goes from a lovely 3D model, to an absolutely chronic 2D texture. What the hell Rockstar?
Rockstar are currently working on a fix for the downgrade saying: “We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTAV after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now.”
Though there’s no telling when the update will arrive.
