Rangers arrest smuggler with 46 bottles of alcohol at Kasur Border

LAHORE: The Punjab Rangers have arrested a smuggler crossing into Pakistan at the Kasur Border and recovered 46 bottles of Indian alcohol.

According to a Rangers spokesman, the Punjab Rangers were performing their routine duty in the border area when four people tried to enter Pakistan illegally.

The Rangers asked them to surrender, but they tried to flee. Taking action, the Rangers detained an accused while the other three smugglers escaped.

The accused who ran away were later identified as Naeem, Muhammad Imran and Sadiq.

The Punjab Rangers have recovered Indian firearms and alcohol from the arrested person, besides impounding a motorcycle. On the other hand, interrogation is underway from the arrested accused to nab his accomplices.
