Govt imposes 25% duty on import of wheat, wheat flour, maida and semolina

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has levy 25 per cent regulatory duty on import of wheat, wheat flour, maida and semolina.

The competent authority, exercising the powers conferred upon it by sub-section (3) of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), imposed the regulatory duty on import of goods specified in column (3) of the Table below, falling under the PCT code of the First Schedule to the said Act specified in column (2) of the said Table, at the rates specified in column (4) of that Table:-
