LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office-II Lahore has impounded vehicle of an income tax defaulter company named MAC Tell Data Solution.
Sources said that the owner of company name Abdul Qavi Khan Qureshi was a defaulter of income tax since 2010. They informed that he was defaulter of Rs 2.4 million income tax to the department despite getting several notices from FBR.
An Inland Revenue team including Inspector Mahmood-ul-Hassam and Aftab Basra held-up the vehicle by taking action to recover national revenue.
Sources said that FBR would send the impounded vehicle to auction, if defaulter could not pay the evaded amount.
