Vehari generates Rs 51.3m form property taxes, Rs 180m under motor vehicle, token tax ‏

MULTAN: The Excise and Taxation Department has recovered Rs 51.3 million property taxes from the Vehari district during the month of February in the tax collection campaign.

District Vehari was allotted a target of Rs 86.4 million under the head of property taxes for the financial year of 2014-15. Vehari District so far has achieved 61 percent target.

District Vehari has collected the Rs 180 million under the head of motor vehicle registration and token tax in the first eight months of the fiscal year 2014-15. The target set for the current fiscal year is Rs 280 million for the economic year 2014-15.

Excise and Taxation Department has so far achieved 64 percent of the assigned target in the first eight months of present monetary year.
