OTTAWA: LG and Rogers have decided to bring LG G3 to markets with Voice over Long Term Evolution service in Canada. VoLTE, which uses 4G network to route traffic lets you use the same network to make voice as well as data calls. For example, if you are communicating with one of your friends and he asks for train timing, so you won’t need to end the call to search for it over the web.

VoLTE provides the feature of making voice and data calls over the same network simultaneously. After Apple and Samsung, LG would be the third electronic giant to take over this huge onus. However the user can also use the service provided by other Telecom companies, if he wishes to.

Alongside VoLTE, the product is launched with almost same design as that of LG G3 and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Powered by Snapdragon 400, 1.2GHz Quad core processor, this product flaunts a 5.0 inch 720 pixel display with 8MP rear camera. It serves microSD slot which is expandable upto 128G. However there is a problem with the battery which needs to be recharged over frequent intervals of time and low quality front camera with 1.3MP makes it too dull to click selfies . Like the other LG smartphones, it also has a variety of useful software features such as Gesture Shutter, QuickMemo etc. There is a eye-catchy feature with this mobile known as Knock code, which lets you lock and secure your mobile phone with a customized set of knocks on the screen.

Rogers announced the launch of the product, offering no money two year service agreements. However it is available at the price of $299 only.
