Appraisement-East collects Rs 18.185 billion with surplus of Rs 756 million in March

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Appraisement-East has collected Rs.18.185 billion under the heads of customs duty, sales tax, federal excise duty and withholding tax during March-2015 against its set target of Rs 17.429 billion with an increase of Rs 756 million.

As pr available statistics, the MCC-Appraisement-East collected Rs 5.564 billion in wake of customs duty against its set target of Rs 5.477 billion with an increase of Rs 87.64 million.

The Collectorate has collected Rs 9.011 billion in share of sales tax against its set target of Rs 10.10 billion in March, 2015 with a shortfall of Rs 1.089 billion.

MCC East also collected Rs 2.685 billion as withholding tax against its set target of Rs 2.401 billion during said period with an increase of Rs 283.71 million.

The Collectorate also collected Rs167.98 in wake of federal excise duty against its set target of Rs 206.96 million during March-2015 with a shortfall of Rs 38.96million.
