LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested six human traffickers in an operation in Punjab, involved in illegal immigration business.
According to spokesman of the Federal Investigation Agency, on the directions of Director Usman Anwar, teams of the department raided the different cities of Punjab and booked six human smugglers. The FIA has also recovered dozens of passports and fake visas of different countries from the suspects.
The FIA arrested two human smugglers Nadeem and Shahan in Lahore. In another action of FIA, Qaisar was booked from Multan and Fida Hussain from Mandi Bahwaldin.
All accused were involved in sending people to Greece, Turkey and Iran through containers and ships.
The FIA has registered cases against human smugglers for further investigation and prosecution.
