LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has booked two suspects, allegedly involved ‘hundi and hawala’ in Lahore.
According to FIA spokesperson, a raid was conducted by FIA Corporate Crime Circle Lahore at Haris Traders in Shah Alam Market Lahore and arrested two persons namely Rizwan Saleem and Rao Zaheer Ahmed allegedly involved in illegal business. The FIA also recovered Rs 0.3million from them.
The FIA also seized cheque books, computer, laptop, prize bonds and deposit slips from the office and registered an FIR NO 48/15 under Section 4, 8, 3 of FER ACT 1947, 109 PPC R/W 3, 4 Anti Money Laundering Act 2010 FIA/CCC/LHR.
