DELHI: Dropbox is testing a new app called ‘Project Composer’ which enables to combine calendar information and Dropbox files, tasks and tables while creating notes.
The app was first spotted by Product Hunt and is currently in private beta. It syncs with calendar and combines collaborative notes and other Dropbox content which can all be added to individual notes.
A report on Mashable quoted early tester and Product Hunt user Maggie Bignell that the app also integrates with notes taken in previous Hackpad accounts, a startup that Dropbox acquired last year. It also allows for multiple people to work on the same note.
Although there is no official word about when the app will be rolled out to the consumers
As the app is in private testing, not all the users have access to it. However, it is listed in users’ Dropbox account as another official Dropbox app after Carousel.
This week Dropbox also introduced an ‘exclude folders’ option for its gallery app Carousel that lets users hide specific folder from showing up in their gallery timeline.
