Earlier, counsel for PCB Tuffazal Rizvi arguing before the court submitted that the department imposed Rs 10million property tax on Qaddafi Stadium and asked the PCB to pay the amount through a notice.

He submitted that the PCB acquired the Qaddafi Stadium land on lease for a period of forty years and as per law, it was not bound to pay the property tax being a lessee.

He pleaded the court set aside the notice for payment of property tax. However, the court stayed the recovery of property tax and adjourned the hearing till April, 9.

The court also ordered to hold ex-parte proceedings of the matter after concerned law officer failed to appear before the court despite being issuance of notices.
