MCC-Appraisement (East) collects Rs16.387bn in January

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) of Appraisement (East) has collected revenue of Rs 16.387 billion in share of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty in the month of January.

According to details, MCC-Appraisement (East) has collected a sum of rupees Rs 4663.91 million in share of customs duty against FBR’s set target of Rs 5057.76 million. The collectorate has collected revenue of Rs 8859.04 million in share of sales tax, which was Rs 3124.92 million ahead of its set target i.e. Rs 5734.12 million.

Similarly, MCC-Appraisement (East) has collected revenue of Rs 2712.77 million in share of Income Tax which is Rs 519.29 million more against its set target of Rs 2193.48 million.

The collectorate of Appraisement (East) has also overlapped in order to collect revenue in share of federal excise duty by generating Rs 151.92 million, which is 69.49 million more against the set target of Rs 82.43 million.
