LONDON: An American multinational automaker, Ford has officially revealed the price for the new MAX range in the United Kingdom. The entry-level model remains the B-MAX which can be yours from 13,095 GBP as this is followed by the C-MAX, which can be had from 18,195 GBP. The more expensive S-MAX will be setting you back for 24,545 GBP.
The five-seat version and the 7-seat of the C-MAX will set you back for more money than the B-MAX but keep in mind that you will also get a roomier cabin and also a lot of extra features which include the Active City Stop, seen on the facelifted Focus, along with the SYNC 2 voice-activated system. On the smaller B-MAX, Ford is offering the latest Euro6 compliant engines and these include the 1.5 liter TDCi diesel burner, which will make the MPV a very economical ride.
The new Ford Grand C-MAX is also available for order as this will be setting you back for 20,295 GBP, offering more room inside it, but if this is what you really want, you should turn your head towards the brand new S-MAX, which is the most impressive MPV ever to be signed by the blue oval. This is adding features such as the keyless start, the front and rear parking sensors, the SYNC 2, the DAB radio and the sports seats, all as standard. Prices for the model start from 24,545 GBP but the Titanium, adding the lane keeping aid, cruise control, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and privacy glass will make things more expensive.
