Sources added that Supreme Court would chalk out a plan for early disposal of such cases which include large amounts of millions of rupees. After the finalization of the strategy, all lower courts will be directed to follow the instructions regarding the hearing of revenue related cases.

FBR hopes if courts stared to decide the revenue cases on early basis, it would increase the revenue generation and discourage the tax evaders who take undue advantages due to the loop holes in judiciary system.

In apex courts, there are number of cases in which applicant has just asked about the explanation of law, while no judgments passed by the tribunals in such cases have been challenged in the courts.

FBR has requested the honorable Chief Justice to draw a plan for the early disposal of revenue cases.
