HTC One M9 to arrive in India: price, availability to be revealed on April 14

NEW DELHI: HTC has began sending out invites for the launch of its flagship One M9 smartphone in India. The company is hosting a press event on April 14 in New Delhi, where it will reveal the pricing and availability details of the smartphone.

Originally introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona last month, HTC One M9 is currently on sale in countries like Taiwan and USA. The company will be rolling out the phone in other major markets this month.

To remind you, HTC One M9 sports a metal unibody design and features a 5-inch full HD display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. The phone also comes with 20MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, Ultrapixel front shooter and 3GB of RAM.

Other specifications of the One M9 include Android 5.0 with Sense 7, 2840 mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

The One M9 will go head to head with Samsung’s Galaxy S6 in the country, which will be available beginning April 10. The S6 has been priced starting INR 49,900. We are expecting similar price-tag for the One M9.
