On Wednesday, the Custom Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Court heard arguments presented by lawyers in 21 cases.

Special Court Judge Nazeer Ahmad Gunjana heard the case of Multan Dry Port in which an accused, Qaiser, allegedly involved in evasion of taxes and duties on fake documents, was presented.

The honourable court adjourned the tax evasion case for the next hearing.

The court had to adjourn a number of the cases due to the absence of applicants/respondents, while a few cases were adjourned because challans were not presented against the accused.
