TOKYO: PlayStation 4 Firmware 2.50 added tons of exciting features and fixed numerous bugs and issues. However, many things didn’t go as planned by Sony and PS4 Firmware 2.50 messed up few things (especially Suspend/Resume feature didn’t work as intended for many PS4 owners).
Well known industry insider Tidux via Twitter has leaked that Sony is working on a new PlayStation 4 firmware which will carry the fix for issues discovered in PS4 firmware 2.50. However, Tidux didn’t share any details regarding what exactly new PS4 Firmware will fix and when exactly it will be released.
In another news, Sony’s Toshimasa Aoki via Twitter has revealed that engineers at Sony are working on bringing “Uncompressed” screenshot feature to PlayStation 4. Currently, PS4 screenshot feature works in JPEG format which is heavily compressed. Toshimasa assured PlayStation community that Sony is working on the feature.
