New Delhi: Twitter has added several new features this year. With the addition of these new features, the online social networking site has become handier for the users.
Here are some of the new features on Twitter:
Group chat:
A new feature called ‘group chat’ has been added to the micro-blogging site, in which you can chat with any of your followers and one doesn’t need to follow another to chat. The new feature allows sending direct message to one another and shared exchanges can involve as many as 20 people in a group chat.
Video:
Twitter has introduced the video feature where users can share videos of 30 seconds or less than that. Instead of writing comments, you can just leave a video in few taps regarding any events.
Re-tweet with comment:
Twitter added a new feature,’re-tweet with comment’, in which the users can add a tweet to their own tweets and say more about the original message. The new feature allows the users to add only 116 characters to the existing 140-character limit for a quoted tweet.
‘While you were away’ service:
The micro-blogging site has launched a new feature called ‘while you were away’ service which enable the users to go through the tweets they might have missed. The feature is part of the “Timeline Highlights” improvement and aims to preserve more important tweets.
