LONDON: A group of researchers found different facts about the birth process water dinosaur named Mosasurs. The researchers found that Mosasaurs in fact never given birth on the beach, but in the middle of the sea. The basis of this invention is the correction of the last few years scientists’ statement that mentioned a young Mosasaurs fossil found in the open sea as an ancient bird fossil. Daniel Field, the main author of the group said that Mosasaurs is an ideal model for the natural birth process in the water.
The study found that these iconic predators used to give birth in the open ocean water and not on the previously thought rear coasts.
The researchers mainly focused on the initial environment of Mosasaurs before they had finally reached extinction. The giant marine creatures existed exactly during the same period as dinosaurs did.
