Huge potential between Pak, Indonesia for bilateral trade: KCCI

KARACHI: Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s (KCCI) Acting President Shamim A. Firpo has stated that huge potential of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Indonesia do exist.

Exploration of new business prospects and new trading avenues need attention of both governments. Regular participation of Indonesia companies in KCCI’s Flagship My-Karachi, Oasis of Harmony since 2004 reflects exceptional bilateral trade and excellent diplomatic and political relations between Pakistan and Indonesia. He urged the Founding President of Pakistan-Indonesia Business Forum (PIBF) Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad who is also the Ex-President of KCCI to use his good offices and influence both the governments to expedite enforcement/implementation of Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Pakistan and Indonesia.
