FBR decides to recruit 6000 human force in department

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to appoint new human power up to grade 16 in the departments of Customs and Inland Revenue on 6,000 posts. In this connection at first stage FBR will appoint 600 Customs inspector with Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC).

FBR has given the authority to FPSC for the appointment of new Customs inspectors. As per details it was said that the process of appointment will be fully pure and merit based and FPSC will advertise the posts during current week. All then appointments will be based on eligibility of the candidates and FPSC will conduct written examination and interviews of the candidates.

There will be three years age relaxation and this process will be complete in six months. Highly qualified persons and particularly the persons with science background will be appointed on inspector post.

Similarly 4,000 recruitments would also be done in Inland Revenue department. The advertisement for theses post would be customised a couple of days before but due to some inter department issues the process was delayed.
