CANADA: The Saturn moon Titan has long been recognized as a possible stellar object similar to Earth because it has an atmosphere with lakes and mountains and rivers and sand dunes—just like Earth.
Of course, Saturn is much further away than the moon or even Mars, and so it has not been easy for us to study our solar system’s sixth planet. Yes, we now possess the technology to explore further into space than ever before, but that still does not mean it is easy.
Well, in this case, the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft has been out exploring Titan, trying to shed light on the mysteries of this satellite. With its simple sand dunes and near-surface winds, Titan has remained a bit of an enigma for many years.
