COPENHAGEN: The Managing director of GAC stated that the company has expanded its Danish operation with the opening of a new office in the country’s largest port, Esbjerg. The port is already well established as a hub for oil & gas operations, thanks to its strong connections with other European industry centers and direct links from its airport to Aberdeen and Stavanger, both homes to thriving GAC operations.
Further, its facilities are currently being expanded to meet the needs of the growing renewable energy sector and container shipping lines. From the new base, GAC Denmark provides world-class shipping, logistics and marine support to its general shipping, offshore oil & gas and renewable energy customers. Shipping Manager Frederik Christiansen says the decision to open the new office reflects the Group’s strategy to grow its oil & gas and renewable energy business in Europe.
