Dual-SIM Lumia 540 with 5-inch display, powered by 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM lands for Rs 9,361 approximately

LONDON: Microsoft has announced the new Lumia 540 dual-SIM variant successor to its Lumia 530. The present announcement applies to the IMEA, APAC and Italy regions and the device has been priced at $150 (Rs 9,361 approximately) minus the subsidies. The device is expected to officially launch next month.

The Lumia 540 Dual-SIM will come with Smart dual SIM feature. Using this, one can create unique profiles for each SIM individually. The Smartphone will feature Windows Phone 8.1 with a Lumia Denim update out of the box.

The device sports a 5-inch 720p display and is also powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 mobile chipset. It features 1GB RAM, along with an internal storage of 8GB, expandable via microSD card. One will also have the option of 15GB of cloud storage on OneDrive. Other features include an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a 5MP wide-angle front camera, and a 2200mAh battery. It will come in the colours glossy cyan, orange, white, and black matte.
