Shahbaz Sharif: Pak-China friendship stands every test of time

LAHORE: Chinese Consul General Yu Boren has said that China attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan and will continue to further promote cooperation in trade and other sectors with Pakistan.

Chinese Consul General in Lahore, Yu Boren met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here on Friday.

Matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in different sectors between Pakistan and China were discussed during the meeting.

Talking to Chinese Consul General, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pak-China friendship has stood every test of time.

He said that China is playing a role of sincere and true friend in the progress and prosperity of the country.

Punjab CM said that Pakistani people are waiting to accord a warm welcome to Chinese President during his visit to Pakistan.

Shahbaz said that agreements of investment of billions of dollars will be signed during the visit of Chinese President to Pakistan.

He said that great cooperation of China in energy, infrastructure, transport and other sectors is commendable.

He further stated that during the tenure of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Pak-China ties have touched new horizons and new avenues of economic, trade and economic co-operations are opening between the two countries.
