ANP leader asked the Federal government to implement original plan of corridor that passes through Burhan, Fateh Jang, Mianwali, Dera Ismail Khan, Zhob and Quetta. “Our economic project has been snatched from our people,” said Mian Iftikhar Husain. He said that it is our province whose infrastructure is badly affected by years long terrorism, therefore the preference should be given to this province as the province has given sacrifices for the country.

The Chinese President is expected to sign the project with the government of Pakistan during his current visit. However, Mian Iftikhar Husain said that they will continue their struggle against the shift of trade corridor and ignoring the people of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan until the government is forced to start the original project.

The present provincial government of PTI has also been strongly criticized for not taking the issue seriously with the Federal government to protect the interest of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
