Federal Services Tribunal asks FBR to promote inspectors to grade 16 within 45 days‏

MULTAN: The Federal Services Tribunal has ordered the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to allot grade 16 to inspectors.

Tahir Khakwani General Secretary of Federal Revenue Alliance told Customs Ttoday that Federal Board of Revenue will promote inspectors into grade 16 after the judgement of Federal Service Tribunal.

Many inspectors have passed the promotional tests of FBR held after 1991, but they are still in wait of their promotion from 20 years and now inspectors will also award grade 16 within next 45 days after verdict of the Federal Services tribunal he believed.

He said that some employees of lower ranks of Regional Tax Office Multan are still performing their duties on their same position from a long time and they have demanded many times from higher authorities of FBR for their promotion on the base of seniority.

He said that Federal Revenue Alliance is making efforts for the activation of big city allowance for the employees from the day of announcement.
