ASO Lahore impounds Toyota Parado worth Rs 4.5 million

LAHORE: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Tuesday impounded Toyota Parado worth Rs 4.5 million from Multan Road Lahore.

Official sources informed Customs Today that the vehicle was in the possession of accused Javaid, a resident of DHA Lahore.

On a tip-off, the ASO team including Inspector Sajad Bukhri, Khalid Butt and others led by Superintendent Mumtaz Ajmal Mian on the instruction of Customs Collector Mukarram Jah intercepted the vehicle bearing registration no. BF/0291

The ASO team asked the owner to produce the documents regarding the legal possession of the vehicle but he failed to present any documents on which ASO team impounded the vehicle and registered a case in this regard.

The ASO sources said that further investigations are under way.
