ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Finish investors, led by Finland-Pakistan Business Council Chairman Wille Eerola, has criticised the Pakistani government for not establishing ‘non-traditional’ power plants in the country.

Addressing the Second Finland-Pakistan Business Summit, Wille Eerola said that the Finish investors had submitted a proposal for setting up a 1,000 MW coal based power plant through private sector investment. He said that the project would require around $1 billion investment and the projected sale price of electricity to the system would be 7.6 cents per unit.
