HYDERABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Hyderabad’s employees of 16-grades have asked the Federal Board of Revenue to promote them to 17-grade.
Talking to Customs Today customs’ employees said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had announced during last budget that employees of BS-16 will be promoted to BS-17 but no any action has been taken so far regarding the promotion of customs employees, they added.
They informed that we have asked many times to the high-ups for getting promotions while government did not take any notice. They suggested that government should promote the officers playing crucial role to generate the revenue. They added that such kind of promotional awards will encourage the employees and will enhance their performance.
