Bajwa directs FBR’s officials strictly for marking biometric attendance

ISLAMABAD: On not following the instruction regarding the biometric attendance, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Bajwa has warned all employees to mark their biometric attendee while leaving or entering the office to avoid the departmental proceedings against the non-compiler.

As per detail, Member Administration had informed all officers of department regarding the use of biometric system to mark attendance through notification, while it was observed that many officials are not following the directives. Administration had also informed the officials that department would discontinue the performance allowance of the employees those not marking attendance through biometric system

Now, Chairman has personally directed all staff to mark biometric attendance whenever they leave or enter the office and asked them to follow the instructions strictly adding, department will take strict actions against the non-compliers following the departmental rules and regulations.

Bajwa also said that all those officers who have to go outside for official work they should also mark the biometric attendance.
