Multan Customs Adjudication adjourns 22 smuggling-related cases

MULTAN: Customs Adjudication Multan adjourned the 22 seizure cases amounting to Rs 15 million till  April 28 for the further proceedings on Saturday.

Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Saima Ayyaz heard the 22 cases pertaining to the seizures, made by customs authorities and adjourned all of them until the next date of hearing.

She also directed the owners of seized goods and their lawyers to present their arguments in the case during next hearing.

Most of the adjourned seizure cases were detected and registered by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan, while few cases were made by the Anti-smuggling Organization Multan.

The seizure cases pertaining to smuggled vehicles, mobile accessories, Base oil and tryes were heard by the Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Saima Ayyaz.
