LAHORE: SAARC International Exhibition is a giant leap towards economic stability as it would not only accelerate trade and economic activities but would also pave the way for much needed foreign direct investment in the country. Business community should avail this opportunity in all possible manners.

Pakistan Industrial & Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Chairman said this in a statement. Malik Tahir Javed, who is also member of International Exhibitions Organizing Committee said that fairs and exhibitions play a vital role in promotion of economic activities and also highlight the soft image of the respective country.

He said that the LCCI SAARC International Exhibition in collaboration with Labour Department of Punjab from April 25 to 27 would be a golden opportunity for the business community of Punjab to show its full strength as a large number of foreigners and local dignitaries were expected to be part of this mega event.

Malik Tahir Javed said that SAARC International Exhibition would highlight the soft image of the country that was badly tarnished by the groundless policies of the previous regime.

He said that this mega event was the most opportune time to bring to the limelight the potential of this part of South Asia. He said that since a large number of foreigners were also taking part in this mega event, therefore, business community should also concentrate towards business-to-business meetings on the sidelines of the exhibition.

Malik also paid rich tributes to the Prime Minister, Federal Finance Minister and Punjab Chief Minister for their untiring efforts to bring economy back on rail.
