DUBLIN: Ireland’s Electricity Supply Board and Coriolis Energy Ltd. will work together to develop 600 million pounds ($918 million) of onshore wind farms in the U.K.

The companies plan to build as much as 400 megawatts of wind across nine projects, Dublin-based ESB said Tuesday in an e-mailed statement. That would generate enough power for about 225,000 homes, with the first facility expected to operate by 2019, it said. While most projects are in Scotland, opportunities will be pursued across the U.K., it said.
