LISBON: Portugal’s border Customs authority, SEF, has intercepted at Lisbon airport two foreign citizens suspected of drug trafficking, the authority announced on Monday in a statement. Border Customs authorities detain two foreigners suspected of drug trafficking.
The pair, a 34-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, had travelled from the city of Belém in Brazil’s Amazonas state. They were detained by SEF guards on Sunday when their documents were being checked.
The woman was carrying 700 grams of drugs inside her body and the man was carrying a larger amount, which the SEF statement did not specify. The statement also did not state which kind of drug or drugs were involved.
