LONDON: The luxurious 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom Limelight Collection is on sale now at Rolls-Royce dealerships. The Phantom Limelight Collection, which takes aim at the Bentley Mulsanne, is limited to a worldwide production run of just 25 cars.

The Limelight Collection is something of a rolling jewellery box/vanity table with special compartments for watches, earrings, perfume and makeup.

To underscore this function, the special model features hand-painted exterior detailing that is supposed to look like a “diamond bracelet draped over the surface of the car.” The detailing complements the Gala Blue exterior paint treatment.

The company said the special door compartments are designed to “ensure cherished personal possessions fall easily to hand for preparing for the next engagement.”

Because this special model is created for the chauffeur-driven, lots of attention is paid to the rear seat. Rolls-Royce said the new rear seating is debuting first in the Phantom Limelight.

The rear seat was designed by Rolls-Royce engineers working with “the medical profession.”

The seating includes a new calf rest and a foot rest.

Pricing has not been announced.
