NAB arrests a ‘black sheep’ on corruption charges

PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Thursday arrested a ‘black sheep’ within the bureau on the charges of corruption.

The accused allegedly used name of the NAB and took bribe from people for getting them favor in cases in the Bureau. The arrest warrants of accused were issued by the Director General.

It is worth mentioning here that NAB is an apex anti-corruption body and amongst corrupt element the top priority is its own employees if they found indulged in corruption and corruption practices.

As per clear policy of Qamar Zaman Chaudhary Chairman NAB regarding zero tolerance against corruption, NAB KP took this step for establishing a corruption free society into reality.

The accused will be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.
