BUDAPEST: Hungaryʼs Competition Office (GVH) fined dietary supplement manufacturer Dr. Fachet Egészségügyi és Szolgáltató HUF 1.6 million on charges of misleading advertising.
According to GVH, the firm acted against regulations when Dr. Fachet attributed beneficial therapeutic or preventive effects to its dietary supplement products Immunforte Basic and Immunforte C+R in its advertisements between January 2013 and August 2014. GCH said that such claims cannot be made in relation to dietary supplement products.
