Lahore: Customs Intelligence seizes Rs 20m illegal auto parts

LAHORE: Directorate Customs Intelligence and Investigation Lahore has foiled bid to smuggle seven trucks of auto parts and plastic dana, the Customs I&I Officials told Customs Today here Friday.

The sources said that on the instructions of Director Imtiaz Ahmad Khan Customs I&I Lahore and additional Director Mohsin Rafique, the Customs I&I anti-smuggling scout intercepted seven trucks of smuggled auto parts and plastic dana at the Multan Road.

The sources said that the total value of the seized smuggled items have been determined at Rs 20 millions.

The raiding team of I&I that impounded the trucks of smuggled items included superintendents Nasir Minhas, Munawar Khan, Malik Muhammad Hussain and others.
