ANF Lahore arrests 5 drug smugglers

LAHORE: Anti-Narcotics Force arrested five drug smugglers and recovered drugs including charas and opium from their possession. 

According to details, ANF Lahore arrested Farzana Bibi r/o Peshawar and recovered 4.8 kg charas from her possession. The accused was arrested from Lahore. Accomplice of the accused Abdul Rehman Rasheed r/o Lahore managed to escape taking advantage of rush hours.

In another case, the force arrested Sajjad Masood r/o Rawalpindi and recovered 4.8 kg charas from his possession. The accused was arrested from Lahore.

ANF Lahore also arrested Muhammad Mukhtar alias Mukhis r/o Okara and recovered 3 kg charas. The accused was arrested from Tehsil Pattoki, Distt Kasur. Similarly, the force also arrested Sajwaar alias Sakhi Hussain and Muhammad Yasin, both residents of Okara and recovered 800 gms opium and 1.20 kg charas from their possession. The accused were arrested from Kasur.

In another attempt, ANF Lahore arrested Muhammad Saeed r/o Lahore and recovered 1.01 kg heroin from his possession. The accused was arrested from Saddar area, Lahore Cantt.

Cases have been registered against the accused in ANF Police stations and further investigations are under process.
