KARACHI: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will issue the new tranche of loan after discussing the overall economic situation of country and federal budget for the fiscal year 2015-16 with the finance ministry team, headed by Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, in next week in Dubai.
According to Ishaq Dar, work for preparation of upcoming budget is underway on fast track basis and proposals have been solicited from all stakeholders.
He said that talks will be held with IMF next week of this month at Dubai and matters related to macro, micro finance situation of the country and budget targets of outgoing and next financial years will come under discussion in the meeting. He said that new tranche of loan would be released by IMF after successful talks.
