Nippon Paint China wins at 2015 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards

BEIJING: Nippon Paint China, a company committed to the corporate social responsibility (CSR), recently received recognition at the 2015 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards. Its CSR Annual Report won the Silver Stevie Award for the “Best Annual Report” and its “Color, Way of Love” charity program won the Bronze Stevie Award for the “Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year”.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the world’s premier business awards to recognize achievements and positive contributions by organizations and working professionals worldwide. The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the first business awards competition open to all organizations in 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. Nippon Paint’s commitment to CSR impressed the international panel of judges and finally was named the winner of two Stevie Awards.

By 2015, Nippon Paint China is the first company issuing CSR reports for five consecutive years in the paint and coatings industry. Its “Color, Way of Love” program has covered more than 100 towns and counties. Over 200 campus improvement projects have been completed.

Eric Chung, President of Nippon Paint China, said the more successful a company is, the more contributions it should make for the society. He also expressed his hope that more partners and employees can participate in Nippon Paint’s CSR programs to repay the society.
