KUWAIT: Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control have arrested a gang of Asian drug peddlers including a woman and seized from them five kilos of heroin and 1.5 kilos of shabu, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior.
This comes following tremendous efforts exerted by the department to arrest drugs smugglers and peddlers. The arrest came following a tipoff from a reliable source about the activities of the gang. During interrogation the arrested persons are said to have confessed to trafficking in drugs. They have been handed over to the concerned authorities.
