NEW YORK: Motorola did announce that they will be releasing the new Android 5.0 Lollipop for their Motorola DROID Turbo users. It wasn’t long before Motorola started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to some of their devices, including the Motorola Moto G and the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition.

Both those device got a soak test before the update arrives. Motorola followed that up by releasing a soak test for the Motorola DROID Turbo but instead of the new Android, the soak test ended up being a test for a software update.

After so many weeks, we still haven’t gotten any news about when the Motorola DROID Turbo will be getting the update. There is now talk that Motorola might skip the 5.0 and jump straight to 5.1 Lollipop which might actually be great since they will be skipping all the buggy mess.
