Formation of Directorate of Recovery in the offing

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will set up a separate Directorate of Recovery in order to ensure the speedy recovery in terms of tax evasion.

Sources confirmed Customs Today that the FBR has drafted and sent these suggestions of setting up Directorate of Recovery in the budget proposals to the Ministry of Finance.

They further told this scribe that the Directorate of Recovery will work under the supervision of Director General (DG), a Grade-21 officer of Pakistan Customs appointed by FBR.

They further informed that the FBR took this initiative keeping in view slow pace of recovery by Pakistan Customs.
