LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bearish trend by losing 99.59 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5490.17 points and closed at 5390.58 points.
The market’s overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.753 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.224 million shares, showing a downward slide of 471,000 shares. While, out of the total 99 active scrips 13 moved up, 41 shed values and 45 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Highnoon Laboratories Limited, AVANCEON Limited and Allied Bank Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 2.41, Rs 1.87 and Rs 1.74 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Habib Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs 21.04, Rs 9.20 and Rs 8.14 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 392,000 shares, the Bank of Punjab Limited with 264,500 shares and Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 112,000 shares.
