ATHENS: While Greek debt talks continue and the European Central Bank’s governing council discusses whether to give Greek banks emergency cash, Greece paid today an International Monetary Fund loan repayment for €200 million ($212 million).

Another tranche is due next week, worth €750 million this time. The payment due date is May 12, one day after the crucial meeting of euro zone finance ministers who will discuss the Greek debt issue among others.
