KUWAIT: An Egyptian and two citizens were arrested at a check point when they were found to be under the influence of drugs. The trio were found in possession of drugs and paraphernalia on them and arrested and sent to the Drugs Control General Department (DCGD).
Meanwhile, a special operations’ team from the Interior Ministry arrested five drugs users, found in possession of a quantity of hashish as they were leaving a cafe in Salmiya. The security men noticed the five acting oddly, so they stopped them and found them to be under the influence of drugs. When searched, hashish joints and drug paraphernalia were found. They were also sent to the DCGD. In another incident, police caught a citizen with a minor girl in a car. The man was in possession of narcotic pills, and both were sent to concerned authorities. The arrest was made when the car was spotted being driven erratically, then when searched the drugs were found.
